brigkAIR starts accelerator program

As part of the brigkAIR accelerator program, the startup incubator for three-dimensional mobility cooperates with the global company MBDA from Schrobenhausen.

The development of three-dimensional mobility is becoming more and more important due to federal and state-wide funding programs. The economic power of Region 10 is also to be sustainably strengthened in this area. For the implementation, the startup incubator brigkAIR has launched an accelerator program with the aim of providing founders and young companies with professional start-up assistance and thereby enabling them to grow faster. As part of the six- to nine-month program, the founders receive not only a workplace and IT infrastructure, but also intensive support through mentoring offers and expert coaching. In addition, the young company is provided with a small amount of start-up funding. The startups do not have to give up any shares in their company.  

In order to link young companies directly with the industry, the accelerator program is carried out together with companies from the industry. This is how the collaboration with the high-tech defense industry MBDA from Schrobenhausen came about. BrigkAIR and MBDA agreed on “Cloud Computing” as the main topic and issue. The special requirements of the aviation industry on this topic are the particular challenge. In the next step, brigkAIR is looking for startups that are active in this area and want to further develop their product as part of the accelerator program. As part of this sourcing process, a company is selected, which is then accompanied intensively for six to nine months. At the end of the term, there will be a final presentation in the form of a demo day.
